Week 7 Fantasy Football PPR Quarterback Rankings
Will Jimmy Garoppolo come back and have a huge week? How will Mac Jones do against the Jets and Sam Darnold against the Giants?
Top 15 Quarterbacks:
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens, Opponent: Cincinnati Bengals
I believe that Jackson will have one of his biggest games of the year against the Bengals. Jackson and the Ravens are coming off of two high-scoring games in a row, and even though the Bengals’ defense has been good all year, I think it will be exposed by Jackson’s ability to pass and run at a high level. He should finish as QB1 this weekend.
Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals, Opponent: Houston Texans
Murray will undoubtedly have a monster game against the horrendous Texans defense. Expect 3 passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown for Kyler Murray and a blowout win for the Cardinals as Murray should finish as QB2 this weekend.
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs, Opponent: Tennessee Titans
Mahomes has actually struggled a bit this year against good defenses, but this won’t be one of those days. The only reason why Mahomes isn’t ranked as QB1 this weekend is that both Murray and Jackson will rush for a bunch of yards while also passing for tons of yards as well.
Mahomes will only pass for a bunch of yards, but you can expect him to have one of his huge games, especially after throwing 2 interceptions against a bad defense last weekend. Mahomes will be coming for revenge this weekend and should finish at the very least as QB3.
Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams, Opponent: Detroit Lions
Stafford should have his best fantasy performance of the year against his former team that may have the worst defense in all of football. Expect a 4 touchdown game from Stafford and for him to finish as QB4 this weekend.
Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers, Opponent: Washington Football Team
Rodgers has had a sneaky productive year putting up 19+ fantasy points in every single game after his Week 1 dud performance against the Saints. Rodgers should have his best game of the year against the Washington Football Team, who has one of the worst secondaries in the NFL.
Expect both Rodgers and Davante Adams to have huge games and Rodgers should throw for 3 or 4 touchdown passes with over 300 passing yards.
Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Opponent: Chicago Bears
The Bears have one of the best defenses in the NFL, but Tom Brady should have a huge game regardless. He always does against the good defenses somehow.
I don’t think Brady will replicate his 37 fantasy point game two weeks ago, but I can definitely see Brady throwing 4 touchdowns with over 300 passing yards for roughly 30 fantasy points.
Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles, Opponent: Las Vegas Raiders
Hurts has trouble throwing the football. That is evident. In real life that causes problems, but in fantasy, it doesn’t matter because he rushes for a touchdown or two every single game.
Miles Sanders and Kenneth Gainwell are barely used and Hurts has been the primary rusher this season. Expect another 20+ fantasy performance from Hurts this weekend against a horrendous Raiders defense.
Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans, Opponent: Kansas City Chiefs
Nothing about Tannehill’s season so far has impressed me, but he is going up against one of the worst defenses against the pass in the NFL so expect a somewhat big day from Tannehill who now has both of his WR1’s back, Julio Jones and A.J. Brown.
Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers, Opponent: Indianapolis Colts
Garoppolo will be playing his first game in two weekends and he should have 300+ yards with 2-3 touchdown passes against a Colts defense that has given up a lot of yards against the pass this season.
Garoppolo is a big boom/bust player who hasn’t had a monster fantasy performance since Week 1 against the Detroit Lions, but if your #1 QB is on a bye week and you need someone that has the potential to have a big game, Garoppolo is that guy. I think he has a big week.
Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints, Opponent: Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks have one of the worst defenses in football and even though Winston may not throw for 4 touchdowns this weekend, he should get you 250+ passing yards with 2-3 touchdown passes.
Carson Wentz, Indianapolis Colts, Opponent: San Francisco 49ers
Wentz has been on a tear recently and the 49ers’ secondary is terrible. Expect Wentz to have 300 passing yards and 2 touchdowns, but also an interception thrown to Fred Warner. He could also fumble the ball against a dominant front 7 defensive line for the 49ers.
Derek Carr, Las Vegas Raiders, Opponent: Philadelphia Eagles
Derek Carr is coming off of a big game where he put up 341 passing yards with 2 touchdowns for 22 fantasy points.
He should continue this kind of production against an Eagles defense that has been very inconsistent at stopping the pass.
Sam Darnold, Carolina Panthers, Opponent: New York Giants
Darnold has looked awful three weeks in a row, but you can always count on the Giants to be a confidence booster and to break you out of your slump.
I expect Darnold to have one rushing touchdown and 2-3 passing touchdowns this weekend against a very bad Giants defense.
Taylor Heinicke, Washington Football Team Opponent: Green Bay Packers
Heinicke always produces touchdowns week in and week out. He may throw an interception or two this weekend, but you can rely on Heinicke to get you over 300 passing yards with at least 2 touchdown passes.
Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons, Opponent: Miami Dolphins
Ryan should have another good game with 2-3 touchdown passes, but he also may be picked off twice. Ryan remains a big boom/bust player every weekend.
