Week 4 Fantasy Basketball Rankings, Small Forward
LeBron isn't #1 anymore and Jimmy Butler continues to rise
Paul George, Los Angeles Clippers
Expect a huge year for Paul George, who comes into the year as the guy without Kawhi Leonard. George needs to stay healthy, but if he does, there is a possibility he could finish as a top 5 player overall in all fantasy leagues because of his ability to score 30+ points every single night.
Kevin Durant, Brooklyn Nets
Durant is the most efficient scorer in the NBA and will put up close to 30 PPG if he stays healthy. He also gives you 8 rebounds per game, and 1 block, and 1 steal per game. He is off to a fantastic start to the year.
Lebron James, Los Angeles Lakers
Lebron James’ production this season is hard to predict. He has been off and on to start the year, but if Westbrook continues to play better, which he should, James’ production could go down exponentially.
His free throw shooting is the reason why he isn’t the #1 Small Forward in Fantasy Basketball. He misses a ton of free throws and 3 pointers, which will hurt his production enough to finish as 3rd overall, even with his high PPR, RPG, and APG.
Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat
Butler is a do-it-all forward who will average 25 PPG, 7 APG, and 6 RPG with extreme efficiency. Butler is a guy you can count on who could win you fantasy leagues if he has a season indicative of last season.
Tobias Harris, Philadelphia 76ers
Harris has been so productive over the past 3 years, but he should take his game to another level if the Ben Simmons problems continue. He is a great guy to get in the fourth round and could win you, fantasy leagues.
Brandon Ingram, New Orleans Pelicans
Ingram is a gifted scorer who will get you 5+ APG and 5+ RPG as well as being very efficient from the free-throw line and the field. He will have a ridiculous first two months of fantasy production with Zion Williamson set to miss at least 2 months to start the year.
Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks
Middleton is one of the most clutch players in the NBA, but his fantasy production comes from his pristine efficiency from the floor and the free-throw line.
He also will get you 6+ rebounds per game and even some assists this season as well. Middleton is always a solid guy to have in Fantasy Basketball.
OG Anunoby, Toronto Raptors
Anunoby is one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA and should give you close to 2 SPG and 1 BPG while also continuing to produce on the offensive end.
Every year he gets better offensively and with Pascal Siakam out to start the year, he could put up a couple 30 point games, even with Fred VanVleet leading the way offensively. Don’t sleep on OG and he could be the reason you win your fantasy league.
Miles Bridges, Charlotte Hornets
Bridges usually splits production with P.J. Washington, LaMelo Ball, Gordon Hayward, and Terry Rozier, but he is a do-it-all-forward who has a knack for rebounding and scoring. He is having his best year yet and is showing no signs of slowing down.
He could win the most-improved player award if he keeps this up. He is always a solid guy to have on your fantasy team even if he isn’t that consistent with his production.
Harrison Barnes, Sacramento Kings
Barnes is off to a fantastic start to the season averaging 22.2 PPG and 9 RPG. Will he be able to keep it up with so much depth on his team? Probably, since this is the best Barnes has looked in his whole career.
Scottie Barnes, Toronto Raptors
This may be too high for a rookie, but Barnes couldn’t be in a better position to put up massive fantasy points in his rookie year than in Toronto, especially while Pascal Siakam is out.
Barnes is a guy that will put up 15+ PPG, 6 APG, and 6 RPG, while also getting 1 SPG and 1 RPG. The hype is real for Barnes, especially in Fantasy Basketball.
RJ Barrett, New York Knicks
Barrett gets better on both ends of the floor every single year. His consistency was the one question heading into last season and he silenced all of the haters having his most consistent year yet.
Evan Fournier and Kemba Walker come in and could score a lot, but I believe that Barrett is still the #2 option on the Knicks and will have a monster fantasy year.
Jerami Grant, Detroit Pistons
Last season was no fluke. Grant can flat out get you a bucket whenever you need him to. His RPG was also fantastic and should be again as well. With Cade Cunningham coming in to lead this offense, Grant’s efficiency could even go up.
Gordon Hayward, Charlotte Hornets
There is a lot of injury concern here with Hayward who has been hurt most of the past three seasons, but if he’s healthy he will be a very efficient and productive fantasy forward.
He has already started off strong in fantasy basketball. LaMelo Ball should get him many open shots, but the only knock other than injury concern for Hayward is that the fantasy production is split between Terry Rozier, LaMelo Ball, P.J. Washington, and Miles Bridges.
Michael Porter Jr, Denver Nuggets
Porter Jr. is having a tough start to the year, but he should still be able to get on track and take the leap toward superstardom this season and finish as a top 7 Small Forward.
He should average 25+ PPG on extreme efficiency with 8 RPG as well. He hits a ton of threes and makes most of his production usually. He will pick it up, give him time.
Keldon Johnson, San Antonio Spurs
This will be the breakout year for Johnson as he will lead the Spurs in RPG and will be 2nd behind Dejounte Murray in PPG for the team.
He is off to a slow start, but he will pick it up. Johnson is so efficient and also picks up close to 2 SPG and 1 BPG. His fantasy value is still low and if you can snag him he will help you win your league.
Bojan Bogdanovic, Utah Jazz
Bogdanovic is a gifted scorer and the #3 option on offense for the Jazz. Sometimes the production on this team is distributed between Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, Jordan Clarkson, Joe Ingles, and Bojan Bogdanovic, which limits his fantasy upside. Even so, Bogdanovic is always a solid guy to have.
Mikal Bridges, Phoenix Suns
Bridges is a much better player in real life than in fantasy. Regardless, Bridges does have value in getting SPG, a high three-point and free throw percentage, while also picking up some rebounds as well.
Joe Ingles, Utah Jazz
Ingles’ value comes from his efficient 3PT shooting and his superb playmaking. He could average up to 6 APG this year.
20. Andrew Wiggins, Golden State Warriors
Wiggins will be fine this season. He isn’t that efficient, but he will put up close to 17-18 PPG with 6 RPG and 1 SPG. His defense has gotten way better but I don’t think he will have that good of a year resulting in him being ranked 20th overall.
