Top 30 Wide Receivers Week 6 PPR Fantasy Football
Down to 30 instead of 40 because of the bye weeks kicking in
Top 30 WRs:
Tyreek Hill Kansas City Chiefs, Opponent: Washington Football Team
Hill always bounces back and has a monster week after a down week, and he will be going up against the Washington Football Team, who has ranked close to last in every defensive category so far this season. Hill should put up video game numbers in an easy win for the Chiefs.
Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers, Opponent: Chicago Bears
Adams will be ranked top 2 all season long because he is just so consistent. The Bengals have a pretty good defense this year, but he still managed to put up 200+ yards receiving.
Even against the Bears, who don’t give up many fantasy points to receivers other than Cooper Kupp in Week 1, Adams is bound for another 100 + receiving yard game while also pulling in a touchdown.
DK Metcalf, Seattle Seahawks, Opponent: Pittsburgh Steelers
Metcalf will pull in another touchdown against the Steelers and is one of the safest starts at WR1 in the history of PPR Fantasy Football. Once he got going this year, it was over. There won’t be another week all season long where he has under 15 fantasy points, even with Geno Smith as his QB now.
Don’t think twice. Start him at WR1 even against a “dominant” Steelers defense. Metcalf is a matchup problem to everyone and Geno Smith will be throwing his way the whole game.
Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams, Opponent: New York Giants
This game isn’t watchable unless you have a fantasy player on the Rams since it will be a wipeout. The Giants have the most injuries I have seen on a team since the 49ers of last season and they just won’t be competitive in this game. Kupp will score a touchdown and pull in 70+ receiving yards, but Robert Woods is on a roll right now could limit Kupp to one touchdown instead of two.
Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals, Opponent: Detroit Lions
Chase is the most consistent producer of all Wide Receivers in PPR Fantasy Football. Not only will Joe Burrow target him 10+ times a game, but he will find his way into the end zone every single week. The hype is real and Chase gets an atrocious Lions defense to toy with this weekend.
DeAndre Hopkins, Arizona Cardinals, Opponent: Cleveland Browns
The Browns just gave up 47 points to the Chargers and if Mike Williams’ 37 point fantasy performance is any indication of big receivers demolishing this Browns secondary, then Hopkins will put up 25 fantasy points with over 100 yards receiving while pulling ca touchdown this weekend.
Stefon Diggs, Buffalo Bills, Opponent: Tennessee Titans
The Titans will give up 40 points in this game to the Bills since they have no defense. Diggs is bound to catch at least one touchdown in this game, even though he has disappointed fantasy owners all season long with his production.
D.J. Moore, Carolina Panthers, Opponent: Minnesota Vikings
Moore had an off week against the Eagles being matched up against Darius Slay, but he will get back on track against a miserable Vikings defense. Moore should pull in a touchdown even with Christian McCaffrey back in action.
Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings, Opponent: Carolina Panthers
The Panthers aren’t an ideal matchup for receivers, but Jefferson is one of a kind and will be targeted 12 times at least in this game. Kirk Cousins loves his favorite target so expect Jefferson to pull in 100 yards receiving even if the Vikings can’t put points up.
Robert Woods, Los Angeles Rams, Opponent:
Woods finally had his breakout game against the Seahawks, something we have all been waiting for this season. Expect Woods to see 8-10 targets and pull in a touchdown in a blowout win against the Giants this weekend.
Mike Williams, Los Angeles Chargers, Opponent: Baltimore Ravens
Mike Williams can’t be stopped. Start him every week with confidence. He could put together another 2 touchdowns, 150+ yards performance against the Ravens who have been inconsistent on defense all season long.
Terry McLaurin, Washington Football Team, Opponent: Kansas City Chiefs
McLaurin will have a huge game against the Chiefs and their awful defense. Expect 20 fantasy points at the very least from Scary Terry.
Amari Cooper, Dallas Cowboys, Opponent: New England Patriots
Cooper is very inconsistent because Dak Prescott has so many weapons. Cooper has had 3 weeks with over 15 fantasy points (in Week 1 he had 39) and two weeks with 5 fantasy points.
Cooper is one of the premier boom/bust players and someone who could kill your team or win you the matchup. Regardless, because of his talent, he is a must-start at WR1 or WR2 every single week even against a tough New England Patriots defense.
Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers, Opponent: Baltimore Ravens
Allen is as consistent as they come. He hasn’t put up the numbers that Mike Williams has, but he continues to put up over 11 fantasy points week in and week out. The only issue with Allen is that he hasn’t found the end zone much this year, but that will change soon. Allen is the safest start in the universe.
CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys, Opponent: New England Patriots
Lamb is another big-time boom/bust player that could have 30 fantasy points one week and under 10 the next week. However, last weekend’s 19 fantasy point night was promising because Prescott finally threw in Lamb’s direction even with his continued fixation on Dalton Schultz. Regardless, CeeDee is always a must-start in every single league, even if he is so inconsistent.
Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers, Opponent: Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks have one of the worst defenses in all of football so expect Johnson to continue his solid fantasy production if Ben Roethlisberger can get him the ball as he did with Chase Claypool last weekend.
Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks, Opponent: Pittsburgh Steelers
Lockett is always a boom/bust player that could get you 35 fantasy points or under 10. It all depends on how he is targeted and he has fallen to 16th overall because no one knows how Geno Smith will target him this weekend. He remains a must-start though just because of what he can produce.
Adam Thielen, Minnesota Vikings, Opponent: Carolina Panthers
Thielen was honestly very productive in the minimal times he was targeted last weekend. However, he hasn’t had a touchdown in the last two weekends and that is concerning.
Justin Jefferson is targeted way more, and Kirk Cousins has not been consistent at all. However, Theilen remains a player that could pull in two touchdowns in one game. You just never know. Theilen is one of the biggest boom/bust players of all time.
Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Opponent: Philadelphia Eagles
The reason Evans is not ranked higher is that Rob Gronkowski should be back and that will only distribute the production even more away from Evans, Chris Godwin, and Antonio Brown.
Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Opponent: Philadelphia Eagles
Chris Godwin is a great receiver but should never rank higher than 15th just because of how many weapons Tom Brady and the Bucs have. Brady decided to throw two touchdowns to Antonio Brown last weekend and may decide to throw two to Chris Godwin this weekend. No one knows. Godwin is an obvious start every week, but don’t be surprised if he disappoints this weekend.
Marquise Brown, Baltimore Ravens, Opponent: Los Angeles Chargers
Don’t let Mark Andrews’ big week distract you from Brown’s consistent production, especially in the Red-Zone. Brown is poised for another good week against a Chargers defense that just gave up 42 points.
Brandin Cooks, Houston Texans, Opponent: Indianapolis Colts
Davis Mills is coming off of a huge week, and if he replicates that against the Colts which is highly unlikely, then Cooks will benefit tremendously. Regardless, Cooks should put up at the very least 12 fantasy points and is a very safe play this week even against a great defense in the Colts.
Julio Jones, Tennessee Titans, Opponent: Buffalo Bills
Jones has been hurt the last two weeks but he should come back with a vengeance against a dominant Bills team, especially since A.J. Brown forgot how to play football this year. Start Jones with confidence even though “experts” claim he is a risky play. He really isn’t.
Jakobi Meyers, New England Patriots, Opponent: Dallas Cowboys
Meyers is the #1 receiver for the Patriots and even though Hunter Henry may take away some of his production, Meyers is poised for a productive week even going up against Trevon Diggs and the Cowboys’ great secondary.
Michael Pittman Jr, Indianapolis Colts, Opponent: Houston Texans
Pittman Jr. is coming off of a huge game where he put up 21 fantasy points. Pittman Jr. always gets the targets, it is all about what he does with them and he has been super consistent so far.
The Texans have a surprisingly decent secondary, but that should not affect Pittman Jr.’s 8-12 targets per game and over 14 fantasy points. Until Pittman Jr. slows down, start him with confidence.
Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos, Opponent: Las Vegas Raiders
Sutton is one of the most consistent receivers in Fantasy Football. He is Bridgewater’s #1 target and is going up against the Raiders. He should have a huge week. Start him with confidence.
DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles, Opponent: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Smith is going up against a defense that allows a lot of fantasy points to Wide Receivers and that could benefit him if Jalen Hurts targets him. Who knows though, Smith is a boom/bust player every week because the Eagles’ offense is not consistent in its offensive gameplan and how much they will target Smith each week. Sometimes Smith is the focus on offense and other times it is the Tight Ends.
Hunter Renfrow, Las Vegas Raiders, Opponent: Denver Broncos
Renfrow is Carr’s favorite target and is bound to get 10 targets regardless of playing the Broncos’ elite defense.
Allen Robinson II, Chicago Bears, Opponent: Green Bay Packers
Robinson is going to have a decent game against the Packers because Justin Fields is continuing to get better each week and Robinson is undoubtedly the best player on the offense and is bound to get receptions. Robinson like every week could disappoint though and he is the premier boom/bust player.
Antonio Brown, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Opponent: Philadelphia Eagles
Brown is coming off of a 2 touchdown week and because he is hot right now, he is a must-start at WR2 or the Flex position.
