Top 25 Tight Ends for PPR Fantasy Football Week 4
*C.J. Uzomah is exempt from this list due to playing on Thursday night for the Bengals and already having a huge game.
Top 25:
Travis Kelce, Kansas City Cheifs
Is this really a question? Kelce is now leaps and bounds better than Kittle and Waller if he wasn’t already. He is the #1 fantasy player in general. He will have another big week against the Eagles.
Darren Waller, Las Vegas Raiders
Waller has been hit or miss every week in Fantasy Football, but he remains Derek Carr’s #1 target and option on offense, which gives him huge fantasy upside every single week.
George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers
Kittle is questionable to play on Sunday, but if he does play, he should have a huge week against a terrible Seahawks defense. Jimmy Garroppolo is passing better every week and I think Kittle will continue to get more involved in the offense.
Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
Pitts hasn’t been targeted or used much, but we all know he should be. He is already a big-time matchup problem in the NFL and he is only a rookie! Atlanta just needs to use him more and they should this week when they play the Washington Football Team who has given up a ton of points recently in the passing game.
Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens
Even though Andrews has yet to be targeted a whole lot in each of the first 3 games, he should be Jackson’s #1 Red-Zone target because of his size and strength. The Ravens are playing the Broncos, but Andrews is a guy that could catch a touchdown and have over 60 yards receiving this week.
Logan Thomas, Washington Football Team
Thomas is going against one of the worst defenses in the league in Atlanta and has been pretty consistent with his fantasy production through 3 weeks so far. Expect between 10-14 fantasy points for Thomas.
T.J. Hockenson, Detroit Lions
Hockenson would normally be higher for me, but I don’t know how he will do against the Bears in Chicago. The Bears are desperate for a win and know that the Lions are the team they can beat the easiest on their schedule. Because of that, the defense may feel rejuvenated and slow down Jared Goff, and T.J. Hockenson.
Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams
Higbee is inching his way into the top 5 for Tight Ends this year due to continued consistency in Fantasy Football. He caught a touchdown last week and has a high chance of catching another one this weekend against the Cardinals who don’t have a good defense whatsoever. I would start Higbee for sure this week.
Noah Fant, Denver Broncos
Fant wasn’t targeted much last week against the Jets, but he remains a big boom/bust Tight End because Jeudy is hurt and he should get more targets along with receiver Courtland Sutton.
Austin Hooper, Cleveland Browns
The Browns are playing a weak Vikings defense and Hooper should be able to use his size to exploit the weak defense. Expect Hooper to score a TD this week.
Dalton Schultz, Dallas Cowboys
Schultz is coming off of a huge week against the Eagles, and even though the Cowboys will be playing a tough Panthers defense, Dak Prescott should continue to target Schultz at least a couple of times.
Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles
I knew at some point that Ertz would be used as much as Dallas Goedert. That time has come, and the Eagles are going against a weak Cheifs defense where they can exploit them with their Tight Ends.
Jared Cook, Los Angeles Chargers
The high-powered Chargers offense continues to target Cook in the Red-Zone and they should get into the Red-Zone plenty of times against a weak Raiders defense. Although Mike Williams remains Herbert’s favorite Red-Zone target, Cook could pick up a TD along with Williams.
Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles
Goedert is another solid TE option as the Eagles are playing the Cheifs. Don’t be hesitant to start either Goedert or Ertz as they are both poised for at least 5-6 targets each.
Robert Tonyan, Green Bay Packers
Now here are the guys you should avoid. Do not start anyone 15-25 on this list unless you have to. Tonyan may get targets if Davante Adams is being guarded well, but he could also end up with 0 yards.
Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins
Gesicki is coming off of a career week where he put up 18 fantasy points. However, the Colts’ defense will get to the Dolphins in a must-win game. I don’t think Jacoby Brissett will be able to get Gesicki the ball much, resulting in him being unplayable in my mind.
Cameron Brate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Brate is filling in for injured Rob Gronkowski this week. I don’t expect Brate to do much and I think Mike Evans will be used as the big receiver/Tight End position mostly in this game and will be Brady’s favorite target.
Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers
Freiermuth is a very talented Tight End who is very young. His talent is being wasted by Ben Roethlisberger’s awful play this year. Sit him only because Big Ben will be awful again this week.
Evan Engram, New York Giants
Engram may finish with 0 yards if Daniel Jones plays like he did last week. But if Jones returns to his first 2 week form, then Engram could have a decent day. Don’t start him though.
Dawson Knox, Buffalo Bills
Knox is another guy that could have 0 yards and could have a bunch of yards because of how good Josh Allen is. His production is too volatile for him to start this week.
Tyler Conklin, Minnesota Vikings
Conklin has Kirk Cousins throwing to him which could mean some fantasy points. However, Conklin’s production has been up and down so don’t start him.
Will Dissly, Seattle Seahawks
Dissly is another guy that could benefit from the Seahawks’ high-powered offense. However, I would not start him since he hasn’t proven anything to fantasy owners.
Hunter Henry, New England Patriots
Henry could have a big day if Mac Jones targets him a lot. If Mac Jones doesn’t have a good day, then Henry’s production could be 0.
Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts
Doyle is another guy that I would stay away from. Wentz isn’t going to be that good unless he is healthy and I still don’t think he is healthy.
Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears
Justin Fields looked awful last week, but if he has a big day then Kmet should benefit from it. Don’t start him though.
