Top 15 Tight Ends Week 6 PPR Fantasy Football
down from 20 because of the bye week going into effect.
Top 15 TEs:
Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs, Opponent: Washington Football Team
This won’t change all year. Kelce is TE1 and one of the safest bets to get 15+ fantasy points every single week.
He is also a safe bet to get a touchdown almost every single week as well. He goes up against a defense that hasn’t been good all year so expect Kelce to get north of 15 fantasy points.
Dawson Knox, Buffalo Bills, Opponent: Tennessee Titans
Knox had another touchdown catch last weekend against the Chiefs and he has become one of Allen’s favorite targets. He should have another big day against the titans and is a must-start.
Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens, Opponent: Los Angeles Chargers
Andrews put up over 40 fantasy points against the Colts on Monday Night and could continue on that great streak this weekend against a good Chargers defense, but one that just gave up 42 points.
Rob Gronkowski, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Opponent: Jacksonville Jaguars
Gronkowski should be healthy for the Bucs game against the Jaguars this weekend, and if he is, he will wreak havoc on the Jags defense. Expect a huge game with a touchdown or two for Gronk if he is able to play against the Jaguars.
Dalton Schultz, Dallas Cowboys, Opponent: New England Patriots
Dalton Schultz did not have 20 fantasy points last weekend, but he will still targeted 8 times for 6 receptions with 79 yards. This is promising because Schultz has become one of Dak Prescott’s favorite targets and even when Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb play, Schultz still gets huge fantasy production. The Patriots aren’t the best matchup for him, but that shouldn’t matter this weekend.
Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins, Opponent: Jacksonville Jaguars
Gesicki only benefits fantasy football owners if Jacoby Brissett can put together more than 2 touchdowns a game.
They will be playing the Jaguars who have given up big-time performances to Tight end’s all season long so expect Gesicki to pull in a touchdown and at least 60 yards receiving against them.
Hunter Henry, New England Patriots, Opponent: Dallas Cowboys
Henry had a touchdown reception and 75 yards receiving for the Patriots last weekend against the Texans. Now, Henry goes into the matchup with the Cowboys as the clear TE1 in New England’s two TE system with Jonnu Smith, and although the Cowboys have Trevon Diggs, Micah Parsons, and some other good defenders, they still lack a lot on the defensive end and Mac Jones could look to exploit those weaknesses with his big Tight End in Henry.
Darren Waller, Las Vegas Raiders, Opponent: Denver Broncos
No one knows what is going on with Jon Gruden’s offense after it looked elite through 3 weeks then awful in the last 2 weeks. Waller is still the second-best Tight End in PPR fantasy football, but if the Raiders can’t figure out their offensive scheme, he doesn’t get targets or touchdowns limiting his production upside. He also has an awful Week 6 matchup against the Broncos who have one of the best defenses in football.
T.J. Hockenson, Detroit Lions, Opponent: Cincinnati Bengals
Hockenson had another dud week last weekend, but if Jared Goff is ever going to have another good day again, Hockenson will be the guy that should benefit the most from that.
Hockenson burst onto the scene in the first three weeks of the season but has seen his production diminish a lot due to Goff’s struggles in the passing game. The Bengals may prevent Hockenson from getting 10+ points, but it all depends on how Jared Goff does.
David Njoku, Cleveland Browns, Opponent: Arizona Cardinals
After what Njoku did to the Chargers, he is bound to be used a lot again against the Cardinals. Austin Hooper’s job is in trouble as Njoku just had the best week a Tight End has had all year that is not named Travis Kelce.
Noah Fant, Denver Broncos, Opponent: Las Vegas Raiders
With the whole Raiders team in shambles after the firing of Jon Gruden, they may play even worse defense than they have played all year if that’s possible against the Broncos. Fant may be due for a big week if Teddy Bridgewater can get him involved.
Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams, Opponent: New York Giants
Higbee isn’t getting many receptions this year, but when he does he seems to be getting them in the end zone so Higbee remains a top 12 TE every single week regardless of who he is playing.
Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles, Opponent: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Goedert shares snaps with Zach Ertz who could have a big week, but Goedert remains one of Hurts’ top targets nonetheless.
Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles, Opponent: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Ertz is a gifted Tight End who dominates whenever he is targeted. The same issue with Goedert, Ertz shares snaps with the other Tight End so his production may be limited.
Robert Tonyan, Green Bay Packers, Opponent: Chicago Bears
Tonyan hasn’t had a good year and the Bears aren’t a favorable matchup for him, but I think he will pull in a touchdown this week. I just have a feeling.
